Fares Azouni

My name is Fares Azouni. I am 18 years old. My name describes who I am. Fares means 'Knight' or 'Rider' and show jumping is my passion.

I’ve been riding horses since I was 6 years old. I started riding as a hobby and began competing at national and international levels in 2021.

At the age of 15, I participated in the Youth Olympic Equestrian Games held in CHIO Aachen, Germany in 2022. I competed along with 30 young athletes from all over the world.

I currently compete for Canada at a Grand Prix level in various major competitions. I am currently based in the Netherlands where I pursue both my passion to the sport and studies at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.  

I have created this blog to share important moments of my show jumping journey and inspire others to follow this amazing sport.
